O General Fernando Azevedo ocupou o cargo de ministro da Defesa, mas deixou o governo em março deste ano
O Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) irá contar com um ex-ministro do presidente Jair Bolsonaro para ocupar o posto de diretor-geral da Corte. Trata-se de Fernando Azevedo, ex-ministro da Defesa, que ficará responsável por cuidar das licitações e tratar de questões administrativas.
O general Fernando Azevedo deixou o governo em março e explicou que saiu da função “na certeza da missão cumprida”.
De acordo com a revista Veja, Azevedo irá ingressar na Corte em fevereiro, quando o ministro Edson Fachin vai assumir a Presidência do TSE. O ex-ministro da Defesa continuará nas funções durante as eleições de 2022, quando o TSE será presidido pelo ministro Alexandre de Moraes.
Além dele, outro ex-integrante do governo Bolsonaro deverá ser nomeado para um cargo no TSE ano que vem. Será o ex-advogado-geral da União José Levi, que assumirá a Secretaria-Geral da Corte em agosto, quando Moraes presidir o Tribunal.
