Feira de Santana continua com o menor índice de letalidade pela covid 19, com uma taxa de 1,88%, enquanto Salvador está com 3,33%, a Bahia com 2,25%, o Nordeste chega a 3,58% e o Brasil alcança 3,72%. Os dados são da Secretaria de Saúde do Estado da Bahia (Sesab) e do Ministério da Saúde.
De acordo ainda com dados da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde (SMS), Feira de Santana tem se mantido nos últimos lugares entre os municípios que apresentam maior incidência da doença, atrás de Salvador, Lauro de Freitas, Itabuna, Jequié, Ilhéus, Candeias, Itamaraju, Teixeira de Freitas, Jaguaquara e Eunápolis.
Em taxa média de crescimento da pandemia, computando-se os últimos cincos dias de apuração e comparando-se com todos os municípios da Bahia, Feira está em 267º lugar em incidência da covid 19, com a taxa de 1,29, segundo estatísticas da Secretaria de Saúde do Estado da Bahia (Sesab).
